THANKSGIVING BREAK AND MY BIRTHDAY (TO COME)

So, Here it is Tuesday and I don't have to work tomorrow, which is great. I have several things to do this week, and I really wish I had more time to relax. Tomorrow I would like to play some PS2 get some baking done and pack for the trip this weekend...I probably wont get to play as much as I would like, but maybe.

Tomorrow also is the start of my birthday week. I decided that since I had to work Monday and Tuesday, and since I have to work next Monday and the week through, that Sunday to Sunday birthday week just wasn't going to work out, so I decided that the best posible way to do birthday week was Wednesday to next Tuesday. That way I get the benefit of three extra nights that I don't have to do anything...now that Marching band is over anyway.

So our plans for the Holiday are thus:
1. Leave early Thursday morning to go to Nat's mom's place by eleven, have Thanksgiving there.

2. Leave Nat's Mom's for my sisters place at two thirty to get there at three thirtyish. have dinner there, dessert, play games.
Sleep....I dont know where we are going to sleep that night.

3. Get up Friday and relax all day long.
Sleep somewhere a second night
go to dunlap from wherever, and then

4. drive all the way home to AG, (thats what we locals call Arroyo Grande)

anyhow, there is way too much driving involved in this weekend, I think everyone there should move to the coast...the climate is much nicer here.

Anyhow, I had all my classes watch Cirque de Solet - Quidam today... it really made watching El Diamante's and Clovis High's shows more understandable....in terms of props and such.'

Something in the house smells like Pepto Bismol, its driving me nuts it really stinks, i gotta find out what it is. ok bye.

EDIT: I think it was gas...the knob was slightly turned on, so I aired the place out a little and then turned on the stove...actually I told myself twice not to turn on the stove because I was afeared it might explode..but for some reason I did it anyway...but it's ok, because I'm not blowed up after all :) and that is good.

POST 3 (IN MORE TIME THAN THE PREVIOUS TWO POSTS)

Hello all, and welcome to my sporadic Blog. I can't believe that I have not posted in this long. I could say that it is because I have been really busy, which I have, but that is not quite the case. It is more that Blogspot.com is blocked by my school district and therefore I do not have access to update while at achool.

So first big change, I am the band director at Arroyo Grande High School, and we have just finished our marching band season in the WBA circuit, placing 9th overall in our division in preliminary competition out of 12 bands in our division, with a 78.91 or something close to that, which was about a point off of my goal, but still a good start.

I just want to give a quick shoutout to my mom and my sister and thank them for coming to some of my shows, having them there made me feel very well supported, and also a shout out to my dad for hauling the trailer for me, even if he did spill a pan of spaghetti on the ground in the parking lot, and to Heidi and Frank for their enourmous support with the program and to Melinda, Lisa, Rick, Carol, Bob and all the chaperones that made the season possible.

Anyhow, aside from living the newly married life, that is about all as of now. This computer is unstable and shutsdown arbitrarily every so often so I will save and end here. Glory Adios.

POST 2(IN NOT QUITE AS LONG A TIME AS THE PREVIOUS POST)

Apparently I am not the only one who has lagged on the Blogging duties. After very recent research on the subject I have discovered that there are several other people who are close to me who have not posted but one or two, if that many, posts since the ppost before the post that which i posted last. most notably, MOM and KAREN, plus also my WIFE. I see how it is. I am off the internet for just a little bit and the universe stops. Come on guys, I know I am important, but surely my vacancy cannont have that much of an effect on you. surely there have been worthwhile things to post and chat and share with the world, come on guys, this is important, you are just letting your blogs become stale and moldy, aging out in interspace. It isnt too late, your BLOGS can be revitalized, reenergized, Now is the time for all good men to come to the aid of their country!! Stand up for what you believe in! Live free or die!! I regret that I have but one life to give to my blog!! Give me Blogging or give me death, or perhaps just a sharp poke!! Well anyhow, there is no time to blog like the present so, people, get blogging!!

POST 1 (IN A LONG TIME)

In my bathroom there is a toilet paper dispenser. There are also three rolls of toilet paper sitting on the tub beside the toilet. These three rolls are of the same brand and each has a different width, due to use. One is almost gone, one is halfway gone, and one has just been started. None of these rolls are actually on the dispenser, which has an empty roll on it. I do not understand this system of toilet paper usage, but I have come to accept it.

now the randomness:

Japanese cartoons have good themes, my favorite being the opening to Cowboy Bebop. Also in the mix, Trigun, and Gundam Wing. Spirited away also has excellent music, especially the the music for the credits. I have to say I am a little dissapointed in the Gundam and Trigun series; in that the romance/love aspects are never completed, they tend to leave it hanging. Hiro was supposed to at least tell Reylena that he loved her, Vash should have hooked up with whats her face, after all Mille hooked up with wolfwood. I hope Bebop will be a little more solid with where it ends. Big O, now that was confusing, I'm still not sure exactly what happened with that one.

My honey let me rent a couple PS2 games, cuz we have one now. One of them was Shadow of the Colossus. Excelent game, awesome gameplay, not too easy, but not too difficult...yet. Truly awe inspiring meeting the first colossus, played for hmm several hours, Alfred came over and played for a long time too, actually he was way ahead of me, but I played this morning and beat another two ahead of him.

I really like our friends, C and A, and R and A, we really need to spend much more time with them, plus they have kids, so my daughter can play with they whenever we get together.

So, these are all the changes currently taking place:
1. Quit my job
2. Began secondary student teaching (full time)
3. Taking out my first student loan
4. bought a used car, a couple months back,
5. Gonna get married
6. Gonna have a wife
7. Gonna have a daugher (Bonus progeny)
8. Gonna have two parakeets
9. have to get rid of some of my stuff
10. have to get her stuff to fit in my little house
11. going to finish student teaching this semester and look for teaching job
12. going to the Pines for a short honeymoon, then later to England for an Extended Honeymoon.
13. Have to take out an extra loan to help with the wedding stuff...
14. need to get a pedicure
15. have decided that I like two percent milk better than nonfat
16. have also decided that soy milk is pretty good, at least with vanill flavoring
